Welcome to the official website of Tekniskt Basårs Kommitté (TBK)!

TBK is a Chalmers Student Union committè that exists for the benefit of students at the engineering preparatory year, which starts at the same time as the undergraduate studies. Our goal is to help the new students to get a better insight of what Chalmers is about, how to study well, help entertain everyone and make friends through a bunch of different activities. During the welcome weeks we are the ones who arrange activities for the engineering preparatory students.

Throughout the academic year we host something we call ”räknekafé”, where the students at the preparatory year can gather and get help from each other and us with their studies. We provide coffee, tea and some light snacks. We also arrange pubs and other fun activities.
